Perth Airport, Perth WA
Project Brief:
Review waste management systems to measure the baseline waste and recycling performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Encycle Solution:
Provide detailed waste audit findings and propose policy-related solutions. This project involved data analysis for each material stream, stakeholder interviews and sourcing of information from various service providers. This detailed information was used to develop a clearer picture of what was happening across the estate and provided a basis for recommendations about how to reduce waste, improve recycling rates, identify synergies and streamline waste services.
Crown Perth, Burswood WA
Project Brief:
Review waste management systems and set Crown Perth on a path for ongoing improvement and implementation of best practice systems.
Encycle Solution:
Encycle have been Crown Perth’s waste management consultant since our inception in 2008. We continue to support Crown Perth to identify ways to reduce and recover waste through waste assessments and reviews of front and back of house areas and by providing updates on relevant legislative changes to the CROWNEARTH committee. Most recently, Encycle worked with Crown Perth to identify initiatives to reduce food waste.
The Grace Hotel, Sydney NSW
Project Brief:
Review waste management systems and set The Grace Hotel on a path for ongoing improvement and implementation of best practice systems.
Encycle Solution:
The waste review of this historic hotel in Sydney’s CBD identified a range of solutions to improve the diversion of waste from landfill and overcome challenges to managing waste in a constrained loading dock located on one of Sydney’s busiest streets.
